Launching the Fire Starter Sessions

by Dawn Martinello on May 11, 2010

It’s 3:25am and the product launch I’ve been doing with Danielle LaPorte literally just wrapped up. I wish I could tell you that I know all the secrets of her sessions – but I haven’t had a chance to read the entire book … yet. It’s officially launching on Wednesday (tho’ you can get a sneak peak now) and today was the first day that I had the whole gamut in my hands. In between work tasks, I did manage to take a moment (or ten) to read through some of the book, and whoooaahh boy. You need to get it.

This book is 192 pages of pure gold. There’s a lot of fluff being sold right now, but this is meaty. Real meaty. If you’ve been wondering how you’re ever going to come up with the $500 smackers it’ll cost you to consult with Danielle – OR if you just don’t want to wait the 6 weeks (yep!) it’s going to take you to get an appointment with her – the $150 you’ll spend on the book is well worth it. The book is like having a tea party in her head.

The whole book is broken down into modules and sessions. The Table of Contents reads like a business encyclopedia and covers everything from defining YOU and developing a brand to social media, creating content, and figuring out how to handle the fear that naturally comes with starting a business.

I’ll leave the details of the book to Danielle, but if you promise not to tell, here’s a sneak peak at some juicy tidbits from the book. She has power pals that have weighed in as well – Chris Guillebeau, Elizabeth Taderman, Dyana Valentine, Corbett Barr, and Michael Bungay Stanier.

Stand in your present power
Not relying on your glory days or curriculum vitae forces you to draw power from who you are today. It‘s cleaner fuel. It‘s less about proving (which burns energy), and more about trusting in all that you are, today.

You‘ve got a to-do list, right? Quarterly objectives? Raise your hand if you set yearly goals. Five-year goals? Now, who has a list of how they want to feel in their life?

Would you rather be sufficient, or masterful?
Would you rather be bright, or a freaking supernova?
Would you rather be well-rounded, or on your own leading edge?

Danielle has agreed to do an interview on how this book came to be and what happened during the launch. Together with the VA who pulled off the launch, you should walk away with a hell of a lot of ideas. I’ll also be doing a weekly update on what’s happening in the book, how I’m using it in my own business, and my additional tips on how to launch your business into the freaking stratosphere. (by the way, if you’re wondering – Danielle make $11,000 in 11 hours on day 1). Yep.

So, are you a supernova? This way.
